IGNOU announces admission for management programmes

The Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) announces admissions to Management Programmes (MP), through an entrance test (OPENMAT-XXXIV and XXXV), to be held all over the country

Entrance Test in August 2013 may take admission in the semester commencing January 2014 or July 2014

Programme Structure:

The university invites applications for admissions to the following degree / diploma programmes in Management

MBA (Master in Business Administration), DIM (Diploma in Management), PGDIM (PG Diploma in Management), PGDHRM (PG Diploma in Human Resource Management), PGDFM (PG Diploma in Financial Management), PGDOM (PG Diploma in Operations Management), PGDMM (PG Diploma in Marketing Management) (PGDFMP) Post Graduate Diploma in Financial Markets Practice

Eligibility:

Candidates with graduation in any discipline with 50% marks (for general category) and 45% for reserved category or bachelor’s degree with three years of supervisory / managerial / professional experience or professional degree with 50% in Engineering / Medicine / Chartered Accountancy (ICAI) Cost and Works Accountancy (ICWA) / Company Secretaryship (ICSI) / Law or master degree in any subject are eligible to apply

Clearance of OPENMAT conducted by IGNOU

Student Handbook & Prospectus would be available at all Regional Centres, Study Centres, and IGNOU ARMY, NAVY, AND ASSAM RIFLES Recognised Regional Centres

Student Handbook and Prospectus is also available on university’s www.ignou.ac.in

The candidates downloading the Form from website are required to send a Demand Draft of Rs 1050/- (Rupees one thousand fifty only) drawn in favour of IGNOU payable at New Delhi

Application form and prospectus can also be downloaded from the www.ignou.ac.in and sent along with a demand draft/IPO for Rs 1050/- in favour of IGNOU payable at New Delhi by registered/speed post to Registrar (SED), IGNOU Maidan Garhi, New Delhi-110068

The last dates for submission of the Application Form (Form-2) for Admission to these semesters are as follows:

For those qualifying September 2013 Test: 1^st Sem January, 2014 to 30^th November, 2013

(OPENMAT-XXXIV) For 2^nd Sem July 2014 to 31^st May, 2014

For those qualifying February 2014 Test: 2^nd Sem July, 2014 to 31^st May, 2014
(OPENMAT-XXXV) For 1^st Sem January, 2015 to 30^th November, 2014

Last date for receipt of filled in application form for XXXIV OPENMAT is: 8^th August, 2013 and for OPENMAT- XXXV is 15^th December, 2013

The Entrance Test is scheduled for 08^th September, 2013
