The Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) provides the students the ease of filling up a single application form to get admission to any of the 14 participating law institutes' under-graduate and post-graduate degree programmes (LLB & LLM). According to the MoU, the Common Law Admission Test would be conducted by each of the National Law Schools on rotation as per the criterion of seniority. 

The fourteen participating Law Schools for CLAT at present are:

3.     National Law Institute University, Bhopal (NLIU)

6.     Hidayatullah National Law University, Raipur (HNLU)

7.     Gujarat National Law University, Gandhinagar (GNLU)

8.     Dr Ram Manohar Lohiya National Law University, Lucknow (RMLNLU)

9.     Rajiv Gandhi National University of Law, Punjab (RGNUL)

10. National University of Advanced Legal Studies, Kochi (NUALS)

11. Chanakya National Law University, Patna (CNLU)

How to Apply:

CLAT 2014 application form

Only online applications will be accepted from this year onwards, by making a payment of Rs 4000 only (Rs 3500 in case of SC/ST candidates on submission of proof) excluding the bank charges.

You can also apply online. The online payment for applying for CLAT-2013 can be made through net-banking, debit card, credit card, etc. In case of online application, the candidates will have to bear the additional transaction costs for remitting the fees online through payment gateways.

Online application for CLAT 2014 will be active from 1^st January – 31^st March, 2014.

Important Dates:

Last date for submission of application form to apply: 31^st Mar 2014

Date of Exam: 11^th May, 2014 (Sunday) between 03.00 pm to 05.00 pm
