NMIMS NMAT 2016

NMAT 2016 is likely to be conducted at 27 centres across India. It is a 75 day open window test where the appearing candidate can easily choose the test date & time according to their comfort. Also the candidate can appear for NMAT 2016 thrice in an admission cycle order to have better and satisfactory score
Admission for all the Full Time Programmes mentioned above is through NMIMS Management Aptitude Test (NMAT by GMAC™). For NMAT by GMAC™ - 2016, candidates can apply for more than one Program and more than one campus
(i) MBA in Finance, Information, Marketing, Operations & Decision: 500 Seats
(ii) MBA in Human Resources: 60 Seats
(iii) MBA in Pharmaceutical Management: 60 Seats
iv) PGDM (Bangaluru Campus): 180 Seats
(v) PGDM (Hyderabad Campus): 90 Seats
The candidates may apply for more than one campus and more than one programme
The candidates must be the Bachelor’s degree (10+2+3, 4) in any discipline with minimum 50% marks in the first attempt from a recognized university for MBA and MBA HR course (Mumbai Campus)
Bachelor's Degree (10+2+3, 4) in Pharmacy, Science, Life Sciences, Medical doctors MBBS, BDS, BHMS, BAMS, B.Sc and M.Sc in Biotechnology from a UGC recognized University with minimum 50% marks in the aggregate in first attempt. Post Graduate degree in Economics, Psychology and Sociology can also apply
Candidates with B.Tech and B.E in Bio-Tech & Bio-Medical are also eligible to apply
The candidate must have completed graduation in the stipulated duration as per the respective University, Institution awarding the degree
Those candidates who have cleared their graduation by doing a part-time course or through distance learning, correspondence courses, externally, open school are not eligible to apply
Candidates working in Pharmaceutical Companies for more than two years are preferred

For all the full time programs, candidates who are appearing for the final examination of their Bachelor’s degree are eligible to apply (Provisional admission is subject to clearing the final examination of their Bachelor’s degree with 50% aggregate marks) and selected candidates must produce all the necessary documents, in original, within the given stipulated time
For all the Full Time programs, candidates having two and more years of post qualification work experience will be preferred
At the time of admission, the candidate should have cleared all the trimesters, semesters of the Program. No examination of any previous Semester, Trimester to the final Semester, Trimester examination be held subsequent to the final Semester, Trimester examination. No result of any previous Semester, Trimester examination to the final Semester, Trimester examination be declared subsequent to the declaration of the result or the final Semester, Trimester examination
Those candidates who have passed, or, have appeared for graduation examination from a University where Grade Point Average is given, such candidates must produce in writing from the University concerned about the equivalent percentage for the GPA,CGPA obtained
It is sole responsibility of the candidates to ascertain whether they possess the necessary and requisite qualification for the admission at NMIMS
NMAT by GMACTM would be an objective type multiple-choice test. (There will be no descriptive type questions)
i) Language Skills - 32 (No of Questions); Allotted Time 22 minutes
ii) Quantitative Skills - 48 (No of Questions); Allotted Time - 60 Minutes
iii) Logical Reasoning - 40 (No of Questions); Allotted Time - 38 Minutes
Total Questions: 120; Duration: 120
Each of the section has separate timing. The candidates should answer and review the question within the allotted time
If the candidate completes the selection before the section time gets over the remaining time of the previous section will not be added to the next section. Please note that there will be no negative marking.
Please note that if the candidate is not satisfied by his, her NMAT by GMACTM score in the first attempt he, she may schedule for Re-take NMAT by GMACTM test by visiting  and NMIMS (Deemed to-be-University) website both mandatorily & logging in with the allotted username and password
The selection will be made by the merit of candidates’ as per their score in the examination
Rs.1100/- for normal registration for either MBA Full Time - Mumbai Campus or PGDM - Bangaluru, PGDBM - Hyderabad
Rs.1500/- for both MBA Full Time - Mumbai Campus and PGDM - Bangaluru, PGDBM - Hyderabad
Rs.1100/- for late registration for either MBA Full Time Mumbai Campus or PGDM-Bangaluru, PGDM-Hyderabad
Rs.1500/- for both MBA Full Time - Mumbai Campus and PGDM-Bangaluru, PGDM-Hyderabad
All the desirous candidates will be required to register online only. The online registration process and filling of the online application forms commence from 02nd July 2015 and the last date for registration will be 22nd October 2015
GMAC will carry out the online registration & will conduct NMAT by GMAC™ on behalf of NMIMS. Please visit website for registration. For appearing for NMAT by GMAC™, online application (both at NMIMS and website) has to be duly submitted & payment of registration charges need to be made in any of the prescribed mode within stipulated time
At the time of application the programmes selected by the candidate at NMIMS (Deemed to-be-University) website will only be considered even if the candidate upgrades his preferences later on at NMAT website
The candidate has to register and complete the application, registration, fees payment process at both the websites - NMIMS (Deemed to-be-University) and NMAT website to be considered for further selection process
In case of reapplication, the candidate will have to complete the program selection process again by using the same ID, password used at the time of registration; the last preferences selected by the candidate will be taken as his final preferences for further selection process
Candidates can apply for more than one Programme, Campus as per his,her eligibility by giving preferences. i.e.
1) MBA 2) MBA & PGDM-Bengaluru and, or PGDM-Hyderabad 3) PGDM-Bengaluru and, or PGDM-Hyderabad
Candidates are advised to check the information entered in the online registration application form very carefully while registering and again before submitting the application as they will not be allowed to make any changes after submitting the application
A candidate who wishes to apply for more than one programme has to select MBA & PGDM - Bangalore, PGDM - Hyderabad and has to pay registration charges as per the above table. Candidates are required to fill only one application form even if they are applying for multiple programs, campuses

The candidate will be able to select the venue (School,College) at the location of their choice while scheduling their NMAT by GMAC™- test.
