Karnataka Veterinary Animal and Fisheries Sciences University invites applications from eligible candidates for entrance exam for admission to the following Master’s and Doctoral Degree Programs at Bangalore, Bidar and Mangalore Campuses of the KVAFS University for the Academic year 2015-16

Eligibility Criteria:

Eligibility Criteria for admission to Master program as per ICAR:

Þ     Candidate shall possess a Bachelor degree in the respective subject from recognized University ,institute on or before the due date mentioned

Þ     Candidate shall have 6.00,10 or equivalent OGPA, vequivalent percentage of marks for general category and 5.5,10 or equivalent OGPA, equivalent percentage of marks for SC, ST, Cat-I candidates at bachelor degree level

Þ     Candidate for master degree program should be a citizen of India and must have studied in any educational institution in Karnataka State for a period of 7 academic years at any time upto the Bachelor degree as on 01st July of the admission year

Þ     The domicile requirement is not applicable for admission to Doctoral degree program

Eligibility Criteria for admission to Doctoral Programmes as per ICAR:

Þ     Candidates should possess Master degree in respective, allied subjects as approved by the University on or before the due date mentioned in the notification

Þ     Candidate should have OGPA of 6.50, 10 or equivalent percentage of marks for general category and 6.00, 10 or equivalent OGPA, equivalent percentage of marks for SC, ST, Cat-I, candidates at Master degree level
