Amrita Engineering college conducts its separate entrance
exam in the name of Amrita Engineering Entrance Exam (AEEE
2016). This specific exam is conducted for admissions in the stream of
engineering across all its three campuses. Candidates planning to appear for
AEEE can acquire all the relevant information like eligibility, application
form, how to apply and preparation tips from below. Amrita Engineering Entrance
Exam 2016 is conducted all across the country, this year it was conducted
in around 97 centers. It was the first time in the history of Amrita college
that entrance exams were conducted on computers, earlier exams were offline.
The use of online technology was made to enhance the admission processes.
Around 37,000 students appeared for the admission in three campuses which are
located in Coimbatore

Candidates
appearing for the exam must be born on or after 1st July, 1994. Candidates
born before the specified date are not allowed to sit for the exam.

Candidates
planning to appear for the AEEE must have passed HSC, +2 from any of the state
or any other recognized board with a minimum of 60 percent marks in Maths,
Physics and Chemistry. No students availing an individual score less than 50 %
in Maths, Physics or chemistry will be allowed to sit for the exam.

Candidates
who have completed their Diploma in B-tech are also allowed to sit for exam
given that they have secured 50 percent marks and must be from a recognized
college or university.
Application Form

The
college has provided candidates with multiple options to apply for the exam.
Candidates can apply online, make use of post or can apply by sending a draft
to the college.

Online:
College is conducting exams online so it is fair to apply for the exam online.
Students can fill the form and pay the requisite amount of fees using net
Banking of the Authorized banks.

Candidates
can acquire the application form from sales outlet after the payment of 1000
INR. The form can later be filled and posted to the address of the college.

Post:
Student can post the requisite details along with a Demand Draft of 1000 INR to
the college at any of the three campuses.

Once
the candidate gets selected in the AEEE, candidate will be summoned for
Counseling.
The counseling fee is 5000 INR. Only candidates who
cleared the exam are bound to appear for counseling.

hours 30 minutes (150 Minutes).

mark will be deducted for every wrong answer.
