The intermediate and final examination of the institute under both syllabi 2008 and 2012 will be held from 10th December, 2013 to 17th December, 2013 in 84 cities having 111 examination centers in India and 3 abroad centers Dubai, Bahrain & Muscat.
The date and other details of the foundation examination under both syllabi 2008 and 2012 which will be conducted under online Mode only will be communicated shortly.
Foundation Course: Candidates must be 17 years of age and must have passed 10+2 senior secondary examination from a recognized university. Candidates who will be appearing for the exams or are waiting for the results are eligible to apply for provisional admission.
Intermediate Course: Candidates must not be less than 18 years of age and must have passed degree examination from any recognized university. Candidates who will be appearing for the degree exam or are waiting for the results are eligible to apply for provisional admission.
Application form is available on the institute’s headquarters, regional councils and chapters on the payment of Rs 50/- per form
In case of overseas candidates forms are available at institute’s headquarters on payment of US $10 per form.
In such case the cost of application form will be waived
Student can also submit the completed application form along with the demand draft of fees in favour of “The institute of cost accounts of India Payable at Kolkata” to The Institute Headquarters, Regional Councils and the Chapter Offices

AIIMS PG Entrance Exam January 2014 MD MS MCh MDS MHA

Applications are invited in the prescribed form through online mode for entrance test to be conducted by All India Institute of Medical Sciences on 15 th October, 2013 for admission to various PG/Post Doctoral Courses (MD/MS/M.Ch/MDS/DM/MHA/Ph.D) for January 2014 session.
A Candidate must possess a degree in MD/MS or DNB from a University recognized by the MCI
The candidate who are likely to complete 3 years requisite tenure and degree by 30th January, 2014 may also apply. However, the candidates who complete their 3 years requisite tenure after 30th January, 2014 are not eligible to take up this examination.
1.     The candidate must possess MBBS or an equivalent degree with a minimum experience of three years in a hospital in the relevant field or five years in general practice. A certificate issued by the District Magistrate in support of the general practice claimed should be enclosed with the application. 
2.     The candidate must have obtained a minimum of 55% marks in aggregate in all MBBS professional examinations for other category including OBC category and 50% for candidate belonging to SCs/STs.
1.     A degree of Master of Sciences or Master's degree in any subject allied to Bio Medical Sciences or Master's Degree in Nursing with at least 60% marks or Master of Surgery or Doctor of Medicine or an equivalent degree or Diplomat of the National Board of Examinations. 
2.     MBBS degree with a minimum of 55% aggregate marks in the professional examinations
1.     A candidate must possess MBBS degree for MD/MS and BDS degree for MDS courses of a University recognized by the Medical Council of India/Dental Council of India and must have completed the required period of 12 months compulsory rotating internship/Practical training on or before 30th January, 2014. The candidate who complete their internship after 30th January, 2014 are not eligible to take up this examination. 
2.     The candidate must have obtained a minimum of 55% marks in aggregate in all the MBBS/BDS professional examinations for other category including OBC category and 50% for candidate belonging to SCs/STs.
The prospectus is available on the website and must be read by the applicants before applying. The cost of online Application-cum-Examination fee is Rs.1000/- (Rs.800/- in case of SC/ST candidates).
A candidate can submit application only On-Line through Internet. Visit read the prospectus and other details carefully and follow the instructions given therein. The candidate can pay the application fee through a challan form (down loaded from internet while applying on-line) in any branch of State Bank of India. Transaction Processing Fee (as applicable) will be payable to the Bank by the candidate.
1)    Candidates are required to bring AIIMS copy of Challan Form to the Examination Hall on the day of Examination and Deposit the same with Invigilator at the time of attendance.
2)    Candidates are NOT required to send any documents, including Registration slip to AIIMS.

University Grants Commission (Fake Universities in the Country)

The University Grants Commission Act, 1956 casts a duty upon the Commission to take all such steps as it may think fit for maintenance of standards in the field of higher education. As per Section 22(1) of the UGC Act, only a University established by an Act of Parliament or the State Legislature or an Institution deemed to be a University or an Institution especially empowered by an Act of the Parliament is entitled to award degrees. Further, the institutions established as stated above can award only those degrees, which are specified by the UGC under Section 22(3) of the UGC Act, 1956.
Further, the UGC Act prohibits the use of the word "University" by any institution other than a university established by or under a Central or a State Act or a Provincial Act.
In view of the above, students and the public at large are hereby informed that the UGC has identified, so far, the following 21 self-styled, unrecognized institutions in nine states, which are functioning in contravention of the provisions of the UGC Act. All these institutions have been declared as fake and do not have any right to confer or grant degrees.

They are also requested to bring any such illegal and unrecognized Universities/ Institutions to the notice of UGC or other appropriate statutory regulatory bodies/ councils.

IIM Lucknow CPBAE admissions 2014

Indian Institute of Management Lucknow (IIML) invites applications for admissions for Certificate Programme In Business Analytics For Executives (CPBAE) for 2014 session.
Applicants should have Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline with a minimum of 60% aggregate marks or equivalent in graduation and a minimum of three years full-time post qualification work experience as on October 20, 2013. For applicants with exceptional qualification and/or industry experience, a relaxation in the minimum eligibility criteria may be considered. MICA Admissions 2014 - 2016

Applications have been invited from Mudra Institute of Communications, Ahmedabad (MICA) for admission to its flagship course - Post graduate diploma programs in management (communications) {PGDM -C} through the entrance test - MICAT 2014.
MICA's PGDM-C is equivalent to an MBA degree from any B-School in India and since its advent in 1994 it has created a niche for itself. Nationality: the candidate must be a citizen of India, Nepal, Bhutan, or Tibetan Refugee who came before January 1st 1962, or one who has immigrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, East African Countries, Vietnam to who a certificate of eligibility has been issued by the government of India
Age Requirement: For the posts in the Geological Survey of India, a candidate must have attained 21 years of age and not more than 32 years of age on August 1, 2013. For the posts in the Central Ground Water Board, Ministry of Water Resources, the Candidate must be minimum 21 years of age and not more than 35 years of age on August 1, 2013. Educational Standards: The candidate must hold a Master's degree in Geology / Applied Geology / Marine Geology from a recognized University or Master's degree in Hydrogeology from a recognized University or must have a Diploma of Associateship in Applied Geology from Indian School Mines.

The Rashtriya Indian Military College is an Inter-Services Institution and a Category ‘A’ establishment of the Ministry of Defence. The College was established in 1922 with the primary aim of preparing the boys for entry into Defence Services and to provide quality all round education to young boys.
Applications are invited from boys for admission to the Rashtriya Indian Military College (RIMC), Dehradun (UK) for July 2014 Term which will be conducted at selected centres on 01(Sun) and 02 (Mon) Dec 2013.
Candidates should either be studying in Class VII or passed Class VII from any recognized school at the time of admission to the RIMC, ie on 01st Jul 2014.
Examination centres are generally located in the state capitals or in cities/towns as per advertised.
Fees at RIMC is heavily subsidized by the Central Govt. The fee is presently Rs 26,400/- per year. It may increase from time to time. At the time of entry a Security Deposit of Rs 10,000/- is to be made. This is refunded when the boy passes out.
Scholarships are granted by various state Govts to meritorious students. The amount of scholarships varies from state to state and is in between Rs 10,000/- to Rs 20,000/- per annum. Continuation of Scholarship once granted by the state is subject to merit, income and discipline of the cadet and his performance during the year.

Tata Institute of Social Sciences National Entrance Test 2013, TISSNET 2013

Tata Institute of Social Sciences (TISS) would be conducting TISSNET 2013 (TISS National Entrance Test) for admission to its full-time post graduate degree programs in subjects such as social work, health, management, development, habitat and climate sciences.
TISS offers 45 courses (MA, MSc, MHA, MPH) in campuses situated in Mumbai, Tuljapur, Guwahati and Hyderabad. Forty five options are available in the four degree programs and students can apply for maximum three programs across two institutes.
