The Baba Farid University of Health Sciences, Faridkot, invites applications from eligible candidates for BFUHS Super Speciality Entrance Test 2015 for admission to the Doctorate of medicine (DM) and Magister Chirurgiae (MCh) Courses for the year 2015

All necessary information regarding allocation of merit (Based on SSET-2015) and seeking admission to Super Speciality Courses in the DMC, Ludhiana affiliated to Baba Farid University of Health Sciences, Faridkot and all applicable rules and regulations, etc.

Courses & Seats Available for BFUHS SSET-2015

Tentative List of Super Speciality Courses available at Dayanand Medical College, Ludhiana:

i) DM (Cardiology): 03 Seats, DM (Gastroenterology): 03 Seats, DM (Neurology): 02 Seats, DM (Nephrology): 02 Seats

ii) M.Ch (Plastic Surgery): 02 Seats, M.Ch (Urology): 01 Seat, M.Ch (Neurosurgery): 01 Seat, M.Ch (Cardio-vascular & Thoracic Surgery)

Eligibility:

Eligibility and qualifications will be as per Punjab Govt. Notification No. 5, 6, 2013-3HBIII, 524462, 1dated 01.07.2015

Candidate must not have crossed the age of 50 years on or before 1st January of concerned year, relaxable in case of SC, ST candidates by a maximum of 5 years and for OBC Candidates 3 years. The upper age limit is not applicable to sponsored, PCMS candidates

Candidate must possess a degree in MD, MS from a University recognized by the MCI in the respective discipline; major disciplines are mentioned in 'Annexure-A'

Exam Pattern:

There will be no negative marking for wrong answers

Baba Farid University of Health Sciences, Faridkot shall conduct Entrance test for admission to DM, M.Ch Courses at Faridkot

The question paper SSET-2015 (DM, M.Ch) will be of 2.00 hours duration consisting 100 Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) carrying 400 marks

The candidates who secure 50% and above marks in SSET-2015 will be eligible for Practical, viva of 100 marks and final merit for admission will be prepared on the basis of SSET marks and practical, viva marks taken together

Application Form:

Candidates applying for Baba Farid University of Health Science SSET-2015 Entrance Exam have to deposit Rs 10,000/- in any branch of the Oriental Bank of Commerce throughout India by using Bank Challan from available on University website by due date and time

Before applying, candidate should have to deposit requisite fee in the University account through any branch of the Oriental Bank of Commerce by using specified Bank Challan Form, which is available at University website Candidate should carefully read Prospectus for eligibility conditions and other important instructions. Submitting more than one application by a candidate is liable to be rejected

BFUHS SSET-2015 Application Form Fee Rs.500/- in the form of Demand Draft in favour of "Registrar, Baba Farid University of Health Sciences" payable at Faridkot

After depositing requisite fee in the bank account of the University, a unique Transaction ID will be issued by the concerned bank, which is required to be entered in the admission BFUHS 2015 SSET Application Form

Fee shall not be accepted in any other mode i.e. Cash, Cheque or Demand Draft etc.

Important Dates:

Last Date for Deposition of Fee of Rs 10,000/- in Oriental Bank of Commerce (OBC) through Challan Form, which will be generated after filling online Admission Application Form, available on University Website: 17th August 2015

Date of Issue of Admit Cards: 21st August 2015

Date of Conduct of SSET-2015: 30th August 2015 from 11.00 am to 01.00 pm
