A candidate will be eligible for appearing in the Entrance Test for MD/MS/Diploma Courses if he/she is a citizen of India has passed MBBS exam from any Medical College/Institution recognized by the Medical Council of India has completed satisfactorily or is liable to complete one year compulsory rotating internship by 30th Apr 2014from Colleges/Centres recognized by the Medical Council of India is registered permanently with the State Medical Council/MCI at the time of admission; and  possesses a certificate of good conduct from the Head of the Institution last attended
A candidate who is already admitted to a course in any institution is eligible to apply for another course only after passing the first course
An undertaking to this effect will have to be submitted by the candidate at the time of admission
Concealment of facts would invite disqualification
After commencement of the PG Courses (Degree/Diploma), if a candidate having joined the course leaves it before the completion of full period:
i) he/she will be debarred for next three years from applying for admission to any P.G. Course (Degree/Diploma) in the M.M. Institute of Medical Sciences & Research, Mullana-Ambala; and
ii) he/she will have to execute a Bond for payment of full fee of MD/MS/Diploma Courses, at the time of admission and will be liable to pay the bond money in case he/she leaves before the completion of full period of the course
Duration: The period of training for obtaining MD/MS degree shall be three years including the period of exam
In the case of students possessing a recognised two-year Diploma in the same subject, the period of degree training including the period of exam shall be two years
The period of training for obtaining Diploma shall be two years including the period of examination
The Application Form duly completed in candidate's own handwriting, should reach the Admission Office, Administrative Block, Maharishi Markandeshwar University, Mullana-Ambala (Haryana), 133-207 on or before 20th Jan 2014 by 04.00 p.m.
It may be delivered either personally or sent under registered cover; candidates already in employment should send their application forms through proper channel
Incomplete application form or form received after the closing date/time will not be considered
The Competent Authority takes no responsibility for any postal delay in the receipt or loss of Application Form or any document/correspondence in transit
The Test will be held on 25th Jan 2014 from 02.00 p.m. to 03.30 p.m.at Examination Hall, M.M. University Campus, Mullana-Ambala
As per conditions, the candidates who secure less than 50% marks in the entrance test shall not be eligible for admission to the MD/MS/Diploma Courses on the basis of the result of this entrance test
i) The test will consist of one paper of 360 marks carrying multiple choice questions;
ii) Duration of paper: One hour and 30 minutes (02.00 p.m. to 03.30 p.m.)
iii) Number of questions (items): 120
The test booklet will contain 120 MCQs of best response type
A candidate seeking admission to the MD/MS/Diploma courses is required to send his/her application on the prescribed form appended in the prospectus
Before filling up the Application Form, the candidate must familiarize himself/herself with the information given in this prospectus and check his/her eligibility to appear in the exam; the candidate is required to go through the prospectus carefully and acquaint himself/herself with all the requirements with regard to the filling-in of the Application Form
Application Form should be filled in English only
The candidate shall fill-in the Application Form in his/her own handwriting in the block letters written neatly and legibly with blue/black ink within the prescribed boxes
Overwriting/cutting/erasing in the Application Form may lead to rejection of the Application and should be avoided. Any error arising on this account shall be the responsibility of the candidate
It is advisable to first fill in a photocopy of the form and then the main document
Application Form duly completed must be accompanied by one self addressed stamped envelopes (10"x4.5") with postal stamp of Rs. 40/- affixed on the envelope
The last date for receipt of Application Form duly completed in all respects is 20th Jan 2014 by 04.00 p.m.
Admit Card: The candidates will fill in three Admit Cards each annexed to the Application Forms
The Original will be sent to them by Speed Post/Courier
If the same does not reach them in time, they can collect their Duplicate Admit Cards from the Exam centre specified in the prospectus in the morning on 25th Jan 2014 (from 09.00 a.m. to 12.00 noon)

Every student, selected for admission to the Post Graduate Medical/Dental course in any of the Medical/Dental institutions in the country, must possess recognized MBBS/BDS degree or equivalent qualification and should have obtained permanent registration with the Medical Council of India/Dental Council of India, or any of the State Medical/Dental Council or should obtain the same within one month from the date of admission, failing which the admission of the candidate shall be cancelled
In the case of an Indian national with the recognized degree from Foreign University, the Medical Council of India/Dental Council of India may, on payment of the prescribed fee for the registration, grant temporary/permanent registration for the duration of the Post Graduate training restricted to the college/institution to which the applicant is admitted for the time being exclusively for post graduate studies
Temporary/permanent registration to such candidates shall be subject to the condition that the degree is duly registered in the country where the degree is obtained and is recognized by the corresponding Council or concerned authority in India also
The minimum percentage of marks in the Entrance Test (COMEDK PGET-2014) for eligibility and admission to Post Graduate Courses shall be 50% for General Merit candidates and 40% for the candidates belonging to SC/ST (All India) and OBC belonging to Karnataka State only
Only candidate’s who are due to complete the internship on or before 30th Apr 2014 are eligible
Candidates who have appeared for COMEDK PGET during the last three years and selected a clinical PG degree seat and got admitted to any of the COMEDK Member Institutions are not allowed to appear for COMEDK PGET-2014
The entrance test is being conducted for merit determination for use by COMEDK Member Institutions only
The COMEDK entrance test is for candidates seeking admissions for the Post-Graduate courses in these Institutions
The COMEDK PGET-2014 test scores are valid only for admissions during the academic year 2014-2015

Test Admission Tickets: Online test admission ticket will be available under applicant login of the COMEDK website from 16th Jan 2014
Candidates appearing for COMEDK PGET-2014 should download and obtain printout of the online test Admission ticket (Online TAT) for taking the COMEDK PGET-2014 scheduled to be held on 02nd Feb 2014
No test admission ticket will be dispatched either by post or courier or in person to the candidates under any circumstances
Candidates will not be allowed to write the COMEDK-PGET-2014 without the print out of online test admission ticket, date of birth certificate (candidate copy) and an acceptable photo ID proof in original
A separate link in the website is provided to assist the candidates in filling the online application form
Demand draft has to be drawn from the nationalized bank in favour of COMEDK (check for the correct spelling), payable at Bangalore (demand draft must be payable at Bangalore only) for Rs. 2250/- (Rs two thousand two hundred and fifty only) application number and applicant’s name to be written behind the demand draft

Attempt certificate is a statement indicating the number of attempt one has taken to clear a particular subject/year
Ensure that the online application form is filled up properly and completely
After you have filled in your online application form, click on the submit button only once, to send the details to the server
The server will assign you an application number, and provide the facility to view your online application form with the details you have filled, along with the 6 digits application number
Only after verifying the details take a print of the application form and the date of birth certificate
Date of birth certificate/identity proof is an auto generated document which is generated along with the application form
It is printed as date of birth certificate/identity proof (COMEDK copy and candidate copy)
Both the copies need to be duly signed by the candidate
Date of birth certificate (COMEDK copy) has to be sent along with the application form to COMEDK
Date of birth certificate (candidate copy) needs to be retained by the candidate and carried while writing the exam
The completed application form must have the candidate’s signature, impressions of left thumb, left forefinger and left middle finger
Kindly do not send any original documents along with the application form
Kindly stick your recent (not older than six months) passport size colour photograph only in the space provided
Application form with smudged/tampered or hazy photograph will be rejected
Do not staple or pin your photograph to the application form
No attestation is required on the photograph

Kerala State Eligibility Test (SET) December 2013

LBS Centre for Science and Technology, Thiruvananthapuram, has announced the date for Kerala State Eligibility Test (SET) for the session December 2013.
The SET exam is conducted for the candidates to be selected as Higher Secondary Schools Teachers and Non-Vocational Teachers in VHSE.
According to the rules of the Kerala government, a pass in SET is mandatory for appointment as Higher Secondary Schools Teachers in the state.
There shall be two papers for SET December 2013.
Paper - I: Paper - I is common for all candidates. It consists of two parts, Part A - General Knowledge and Part B - Aptitude in Teaching.
Paper - II: Paper - II shall be a test based on the subject of specializations of the candidates at the PG level.
The duration of the Test shall be 120 minutes for each paper.
·         Those who have acquired master's degree in the concerned subject with not less than 50% marks or equivalent grade and B.Ed degree in any discipline from any one of the universities in Kerala or have acquired these qualifications from any other university recognized as equivalent thereto are eligible to apply for the SET December-2013.
·         Candidates who have acquired their qualification through correspondence courses/open universities which are not recognized by any one of the universities in Kerala are not eligible to appear for the SET.
·         Candidates intending to register for the State Eligibility Test are required to pay the fee for the test in advance to obtain the prescribed application form and prospectus. The fee shall be Rs.750 for general candidates and Rs.375 for SC/ST/VH/PH candidates.
·         Candidates residing outside the State of Kerala can request for the application form and prospectus by post.
·         There shall be two papers for the SET December - 2013.

Ø       The candidates seeking admission in the Mental/Dental Post Graduate Degree/Diploma Courses should have passed MBBS phase III / Final BDS Exam from the college recognized by Medical Council/Dental Council of India.
Ø       Those of the students who have taken additional 4 or more than 4 attempts (i.e. who have failed for 4 times) during the entire MBBS/BDS Course are not eligible to apply for admissions to PG Degree/Diploma courses. Production of attempt certificate from the Institution is mandatory.
Ø       As per the regulations of statutory bodies, as laid out in Post Graduate regulations the minimum percentage of marks in the entrance test for eligibility for admission to PG Courses essentially need to be 50%.
Ø       The candidate needs to complete the compulsory rotating internship by April, 30, 2014.
Ø       Foreign/PIO/NRI candidates need not to appear for KLEU-PGAIET 2014. Their admission will be subjected to qualifying examination marks.
1.     A candidate interested in appearing for the KLEU-PGAIET 2014is required to complete the prescribed application form available on the university website and submit the same to the University online on or before the scheduled time.
2.     The hard copy (print out) of the application form submitted online must reach the University office on or before the scheduled dates, i.e. January 6, 2014 by 5:00 pm.
·         The candidates need to download the Hall Tickets/TAT Cards/Admit Cards from the University website from January, 7, 2014 onwards.
·         The TAT Cards will have the Test Admit Ticket (TAT) Number and Examination Centre allotted to the candidate with the address.
·         The candidate must not mutilate the TAT Card or change any entry made therein after the University has authenticated it. Doing so will invite cancellation of eligibility of the candidate from taking KLE-PGAIET 2014 Exam.
·         In case a candidate doesn’t get TAT Card by January, 7, 2014 from the University office; he/she needs to contact the University office immediately. Arrangement will be made for the issue of supplicate Admit Card/Hall Ticket at the ‘Help Desk’ established previous day, i.e., January 10, 2014 at respective KLE-PGAIET Examination Centres. In such situation, candidate is required to carry two identical copies of the photographs which he affixed to the application form along with his/her proof of submission/posting of Online Application Form of KLE-PGAIET 2014 Exam.In any case, no proof is submitted duplicate TAT Card/Admit Card/Hall Ticket will not be issued.
·         There will be separate question booklet for medical and Dental Courses.
·         The test will have 180 Multiple-Choice Questions (Objective Type Questions).
·         The time allotted for taking the test would be 180 minutes. The test will begin at 2:00 pm and end at 5:00 pm.
·         Candidates need to mark their answers in an ICR (Intelligent Character Reader) Answer Sheet.
·         Each correct answer will be awarded one mark
·        No negative marking shall be awarded for any incorrect response.

The brochures can be obtained (a) from the University office on payment of Rs. 1500/- in cash or D. D. OR (b) (if required by post) through a requisition letter (specifying the brochure required) along with a demand draft of Rs. 1750/- drawn on any nationalized bank, in favour of "Registrar, Dr. D. Y. Patil Vidyapeeth, Pune", payable at Pune OR (c) By downloading the application form from the University. An Application Form, duly filled in, along with a demand draft of Rs. 3,750/- (covering Form Fee + Test Fee + Postage) should reach the University office before the last date of submission of form.
