The Central University of Gujarat (CUG) invites
applications from applicable candidates as per the different category of
courses offered for admittance in its academic session 2015-16
Central
University of Gujarat, a Central University established
by an Act of Parliament 2009 (No. 25 of 2009), came into existence on 03rd
March 2009 and fully by the Ministry of Human Resource Development, Govt of
India through the UGC
The University currently operates from campuses in Sector
29 and 30, Gandhinagar, Gujarat
The University invites online entrance test would be conducted at 17 centres across India
M.Phil-Ph.D
Programmes: Studies
in Science, Technology and Innovation Policy; Comparative Literature; Society
and Development; Hindi Language and Peace Studies; International Politics
Eligibility for
M.Phil-Ph.D Programs: 55%
(50% in case of for SC, ST and PWD) in Master’s degree in any discipline (or an
equivalent grade point)
M.A. in (a) Sociology (b) English
(c) Politics and International Relations Economics
Eligibility: Bachelor’s degree in any
discipline
M.Sc in (a) Industrial Chemistry (b)
Life Sciences (c) Chemical Sciences
Eligibility: Bachelor’s degree in any
discipline of sciences

Six Month
Certificate Course in Analytical Techniques for Visually Challenged. There will
be no written test for this course
Eligibility: Pass 10+2
Candidates can apply for more than one programme through
the same application form provided they meet the minimum eligibility criteria
A candidate may opt for a maximum of three programmes for
entrance tests of her, his choice. Before opting for this choice, though, the
candidate should see the schedule of examination on the website and ensure that
there is no clash in the three examinations opted for (opted examinations
should not fall in the same session)
Note: The Entrance Test would be
conducted online only
