Institute of Technology and Science (BITS), Pilani has announced the exam dates for Birla Institute of Technology and Science
Admission Test (BITSAT), which will be conducted in May 2016.
The BITSAT will be held from Saturday, May 14, 2016 to Saturday, May 28, 2016.
BITSAT is conducted for admission to integrated first
degree programs such as Bachelor of Engineering (B.E), Bachelor of Pharmacy
(B.Pharm), Master of Science (M.Sc) in various disciplines offered
at Goa and Hyderabad
B.E. (Hons): Chemical Engineering (Pilani,
Goa, Hyderabad , Dubai );
Civil Engineering (Pilani); Computer Science (Pilani, Goa, Hyderabad ,
Dubai ); Electrical and Electronics Engineering
(Pilani, Goa, Hyderabad , Dubai );
Electronics and Communication Engineering (Hyderabad ,
Dubai ); Electronics and Instrumentation
Engineering (Pilani, Goa, Hyderabad , Dubai ); Mechanical Engineering (Pilani, Goa, Hyderabad , Dubai );

For B.Pharm Program: Candidates should have passed the
12th examination of 10+2 system from a recognized Central or State board
or its equivalent with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology and adequate proficiency
in English. However candidates with PCM may also apply for Pharmacy program.

For all other Programs: Candidates
should have passed the 12th examination of 10+2 system from a recognized
Central or State board or its equivalent with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics
and adequate proficiency in English.
Interested candidates should register their names for BITSAT-2016 by applying in the
prescribed application form online; complete the application form online at website
and pay the prescribed fees
Also take the print out of the filled form for your future
reference
The prescribed fee for BITSAT 2016 is Rs. 2200/- (Rs. 1700/- for female candidates)
If a candidate chooses Dubai as a test center the
application fee for both male and female
candidates will be same and will be US $ 50 (or Indian Rs. 3100/-)

Those who register for the test and reserve test dates
have to download the ‘Hall ticket’, along with instructions, from BITS website
as per the schedule given earlier; the tests will be conducted during 14th May to 28th May 2016
In order to facilitate a large number of students all over
India to participate in this test, apart from Pilani, Goa and Hyderabad
campuses of BITS where it is expected that a large number of students will take
the test, the Institute is also planning to offer the tests at dedicated test
centers in several cities
The
planned test centers are in the following cities: Agartala, Agra, Ahmedabad, Allahabad,
Bangalore, Bhopal, Bhubaneswar, Chandigarh, Chennai, Coimbatore, Delhi, Dubai
Campus of BIT (International Centre), Ghaziabad, Goa Compus of BITS, Gorakhpur,
Gurgaon, Guwahati, Gwalior, Hyderabad Campus of BITS, Hyderabad City, Indore,
Jaipur, Jalandhar, Jammu, Jodhpur, Kalyan, Kanpur, Kolkatta, Lucknwo, Madurai,
Mumbai, Muzzafarpur, Mysore, Nagpur, Nasik, Noida, Patna, Pilani Campus of
BITS, Pimri Chinchwad, Pune, Raipur, Rajkot, Ranchi, Roorkee, Siliguri, Surat,
Tirupati, Trivandrum, Vadodara, Vijayawada and Visakhapatnam
