Sumandeep Vidyapeeth Vadodara Medical Admission 2015: All India Common Entrance Test, AICET 2015, announced for admission to MBBS, BDS, B.Sc Nursing, BPT Programmes Admission 2015 by Sumandeep Vidyapeeth, Vadodara. GUJCET is not required. The Sumandeep Vidyapeeth envisages itself as vibrant reflective institution providing Health-Care Education Services and Research of the highest recognized standard and best practices in all the perspective

Applications are invited for All India Common Entrance Tests for admission to the Undergraduate programmes in the following Constituent Institutes of Sumandeep Vidyapeeth, Piparia

1.     SBKS Medical Institute and Research Centre (MBBS Programme)

2.     KM Shah Dental College and Hospital (BDS Programme)

3.     College of Physiotherapy (BPT Programme)

4.     Sumandeep College of Nursing (B.Sc (Nursing) Programme)

5.     Dept of Pharmacy (Pharm. D Programme)

The Admission Committee of the Sumandeep Vidyapeeth is responsible for conducting the entrance test, declaration of results, counselling and final admission to the respective programme

Courses: The entrance test is to be conducted for the MBBS/BDS/BPT/B.Sc (Nursing)/B.Pharm Programme

Reservation: 85% seats are in General Category

Ø       Admission to this category will be made on the basis of inter-se-merit of the candidate’s base on result of AICET 2015

NRI/Management Seats: 15% of the seats are reserved for NRI/Management quota

Ø       The candidates desirous to get admission under this category will have to apply accordingly

Mode of Entrance Test: The AICET-2015 will be of three hours duration containing 200 multiple choice questions (MCQs)

Ø       Questions will be of single best response objective type with four answer option

Ø       Each correct answer will be awarded one mark

Ø       There shall be no negative marking for incorrect answers

Ø       The Medium of Examinations will be English

Eligibility:

The candidate must be an Indian National

MBBS, BDS: 12 Science (Physics, Chemistry, Biology with English and minimum of 50% of marks)

B.Sc (Nursing): 12 Science (Physics, Chemistry, Biology with English and minimum of 45% of marks)

BPT: 12 Science (Physics, Chemistry, Biology with English)

B.Pharm: 12 Science (Physics, Chemistry, Biology; or Physics, Chemistry, Maths)

Centres for Entrance Test: Piparia (Vadodara), Mumbai, New Delhi, Jaipur, New Delhi, Bangalore

How to Apply:

Application Form: A candidate who desire to appear for All India Common Entrance Test of this Vidyapeeth will required to submit an application in the prescribed form along with attested copies of the documents in support of application

Ø       The application will also be available online

Ø       While submitting the application it should be with all necessary documents along with demand draft of Rs 600/- in favor of Sumandeep Vidyapeeth, Vadodara as the cost of an application form

Entrance Test Fee: The entrance test fee is Rs.1500/-

Ø       The fee is payable by cash or demand draft, drawn in favour of Sumandeep Vidyapeeth of nationalized/ schedule bank, payable at Vadodara

Ø       The candidate should write his/her name and address on the back side of the demand draft

Ø       The last date of receipt of completed application form along with requisite documents and entrance test fee at the office of Register, Sumandeep Vidyapeeth Piparia upto 6.00 p.m. on 16th May, 2015 (with late fee of Rs 500/-) up to on 19th May, 2015

Ø       It will be the responsibility of the candidate to ensure that his/her application reaches the office of the Registrar, Sumandeep Vidyapeeth within the specified time and date

Hall Ticket: Hall Tickets carrying photograph of the candidate shall be issued to the candidates who is eligible to appear for the entrance test, for this purpose the candidate must submit two copy of recent passport size photograph (not more than three months old) along with the application form

Ø       They should write their name on the back side of the photograph

Ø       The Hall Ticket will be dispatched to the candidate by registered/courier/speed post

Ø       Selection Procedure for AICET 2015 by Sumandeep Vidyapeeth:

Ø       The selection of the candidates will be done on the basis of inter-se-merit of the candidate taking into consideration the preference given by the candidate and availability of seat in the branch/discipline of his/her choice when it is his/her turn for counseling

Ø       An access to Laptop is mandatory requirement for selected/admitted students

Declaration of Result: The result of the All India Common Entrance Test-2015 in the form of merit list arranged according to the marks obtained by the candidates will be declared at Sumandeep Vidyapeeth office and on website 

Documents: The attested copies of the following documents must be submitted along with application form for entrance test and originals should be submitted at the time of admission; birth certificate/school leaving certificate; SSC/equivalent examination mark statement and certificate; HSC/equivalent examination marksheet (if already passed) or at the time of counseling; Bonafide certificate from the principal of the School

Important Dates:

Last date of submission of application forms: 16th May 2015 (Thursday, 10.00 a.m. to 06.00 p.m.)

Last date of submission of application forms with late fee Rs.500/- 19th May 2015 (Monday, 10.00 a.m. to 06.00 p.m.)

Date of Entrance Test: 23rd May 2015 (Saturday, 11.00 a.m. to 02.00 p.m.)
