Anna University Centre for Distance Education (CDE), Chennai has announced the exam dates for Distance Education Entrance Test (DEET-2015), which will be conducted in August 2015. The DEET will be held on Sunday, August 23, 2015.

Eligibility criteria

MBA (4 semesters)
MBA (Master of Business Administration)
MBA (General Management)
MBA (Technology Management)
MBA (Marketing Management)
MBA (Human Resource Management)
MBA (Financial Service Management)
MBA (Health Service Management)
MBA (Hospitality and Tourism Management)
MBA (Operations Management)

Eligibility 

i) A Pass in any degree

ii) A pass in the distance education entrance test (DEET) conducted by Anna University
*The Bachelor’s Degree must have been obtained after +2 or equivalent

MCA (6 Semesters)

Eligibility

i) Any degree with Mathematics, Statistics as one of the subjects at the Degree level; or Any degree* with Mathematics as one of the subjects at +2 level; and

ii) A pass in the distance education entrance test (DEET) conducted by Anna University

The bachelor’s degree must have been obtained after +2 or equivalent

M.Sc (Computer Science) (4 Semesters)

Eligibility 

Any Degree with Mathematics, Statistics as one of the subjects at the Degree level;

Any Degree with Mathematics as one of the subjects at Plus Two Level

The bachelor’s degree must have been obtained after +2 or equivalent

M.Sc (CS - FOSS) (4 Semesters)

Eligibility 

Any degree with Mathematics, Statistics as one of the subjects at the Degree level; or

Any Degree with Mathematics as one of the subjects at Plus Two Level

The bachelor degree must have been obtained after+2 or equivalent

For MBA, MCA and M.Sc Computer Science Applicants

Printed Application Form can be obtained in person from the Centre for Distance Education, Anna University, Chennai-600025

The cost of application form is Rs.650/- payable in the form of Demand Draft drawn in favor of the “The Director, Centre for Distance Education, Anna University, Chennai-600025” payable at Chennai

Application form can also be obtained in person from the following Study Centres located outside Chennai on payment of Rs.650/- in cash

Trichy

Nagercoil

Applications form can also be downloaded from the website of the Centre

In such cases the candidates should enclose a Demand Draft for Rs.650,- along with the completed application

For M.Sc (CS-FOSS) Applicants

The Virtual Study Centre will function at AU-KBC Centre, Madras Institute of Technology (MIT), Anna University, Chennai-600044

Offering of the Programme is conditional upon minimum number of candidates registering for it Prescribed application form is available in the Centre’s Website 
Application should be filled online

A hardcopy of the same with candidate’s signature and Photograph should be sent “The Director, Centre for Distance Education, Anna University, Chennai-600025” along with a Demand Draft for Rs.100,- drawn in favor of the “The Director, Centre for Distance Education, Anna University, Chennai-600025” and payable at Chennai

Applications will be processed only on receipt of hardcopy accompanied by Demand Draft within the prescribed last date

MCA Applicants

MCA Programme is offered at Chennai, Coimbatore, Trichy and Nagercoil only: Classes will be conducted at the centre for Distance Education (CDE), College of Engineering, Guindy (CEG), Chennai, Madras Institute of Technology (MIT), Chennai, AU Regional Centre, Coimbatore, AU Regional Centre, Trichy and University of College of Engineering, Nagercoil subjects to admission of a minimum number of candidates

M.Sc (CS) Applicants

M.Sc (CS) Programme is offered at Chennai and Coimbatore only: No Entrance Test. Eligible candidates will be called for admission in the month of Mar,Apr 2015. Classes will be conducted at the Center for Distance Education (CDE), College of Engineering, Guindy (CEG), Chennai and AU Regional Centre, Coimbatore subject to admission of a minimum of candidates

Note: A limited number of previous year's Entrance Test Questions Paper of MBA and MCA Programmes are available for sales Rs.25,-each at the centre for Distance Education, Anna University, Chennai-600025
