Pravara Institute of Medical Sciences (PIMS), Ahmedabad has announced the exam dates for PIMS-All India Ph.D Entrance Test (PIMS-AIPET), which will be conducted in August 2015. The PIMS-AIPET will be held on Saturday, August 22, 2015.

PIMS-AIPET is conducted for taking to admission to Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D) in Faculty of Medical, Faculty of Dental and Faculty of Allied Health Sciences for the year 2015.

Eligibility Criteria for PIMS-AIPET 2015:

·         Persons having passed post graduate degree (master degree) examination with at least 50% marks or equivalent Grade Point Average (GPA) are eligible to apply.

Fees:

Application form fees: Rs. 500/-

Ph. D entrance test fees: Rs. 1000/-

The student will have to pay the fees either in Cash, accepted at the cash counter of PMT Account or by Demand Draft in favour of ‘PRAVARA INSTITUTE OF MEDICAL SCIENCES, Loni’.

Paper Pattern for PIMS-AIPET 2015:

For entrance examination, there would be two papers i.e. Paper-l and Paper-2.

Paper 1: General Aptitude Test, which will have 100 marks with multiple choice, logical reasoning, numerical ability, interpretation of data, comprehension and Language Aptitude.

Paper 2: Subject Specific Test: This paper will be of 100 marks. Paper-2 examination will be conducted by the Ph. D Cell of the University.

Important Dates:

Last date for submission of application form: Friday, July 31, 2015.

Date of PIMS-AIPET: Saturday, August 22, 2015.

Announcement of Results: Saturday, September 12, 2015.
