The admission to various undergraduate programs for the academic year 2015 offered by NIOH & SVNIRTAR will be done as per the application and admission procedure detailed in this bulletin

The candidate should be an Indian National only would be made exclusively on the basis of merit in the Common Entrance Test CET-2015

Courses Offered by SVNIRTAR, Cuttack & NIOH, Kolkata under CET-2015

i) Bachelor of Physiotherapy (4 Yrs. + 6 Months Internship)

ii) Bachelor of Occupational Therapy (4 Yrs. + 6 Months Internship)

iii) Bachelor of Prosthetics & Orthotics (4 Yrs. + 6 Months Internship)

Courses offered by NIOH are affiliated to West Bengal University of Health Sciences; Kolkata & SVNIRTAR are affiliated to Utkal University, Bhubaneswar

Eligibility Criteria:

Date of Birth: Candidates who are born between 01 January, 1995 and 31st December, 1998 (inclusive of both dates) are eligible

For SC, ST  and PH category candidates, the candidate should be born between 01 January 1990 & 31st December 1998 (inclusive of both dates)

Date of birth as recorded in the Birth certificate, Secondary Education Board Certificate (Class X) will be treated as authentic

Nationality: The candidate should be an Indian National

Academic Qualification:

BPT Course (4 years + 6 months): 10+2 (Higher, Senior Secondary Examination) ISc or equivalent-recognized examination with subjects Physics (P), Chemistry (C), Biology (B) and English with minimum aggregate of 50% in PCB when taken together for General\OBC and 40% for SC,ST & PH candidates

BOT Course (4 years + 6 months): 10+2 (Higher, Senior Secondary Examination) ISc or equivalent-recognized examination with subjects-Physics (P), Chemistry (C), Biology (B) and English with minimum aggregate of 50% in PCB when taken together for General\OBC and 40% for SC,ST & PH candidates

BPO Course (4 years + 6 months): 10+2 (Higher, Senior Secondary Examination) I Sc or equivalent-recognized examination with subjects Physics (P), Chemistry (C), Biology(B) or Mathematics (M) and English with minimum aggregate of 50% in PCB when taken together for General\OBC and 40% for SC,ST & PH candidates

i. The candidates who have appeared in the qualifying examination with essential subjects and results are awaited, can also apply and appear in the entrance test; however their case will only be considered at the time of counseling on production of documentary evidence of having passed the qualifying exam with required percentage

ii. The candidates who have discontinued their regular study for more than 3 (three) years are not eligible to appear in the Entrance Test

iii. For admission at SVNIRTAR- As per regulations of Utkal University, Bhubaneshwar

iv. In 10+2 examination, candidate should have five subjects; one subject should be English

In case of non-availability of qualified candidates under these categories, the vacant seats shall be filled up with qualified candidates from general category (GC) in order of merit

a) Tuition Fees (Annual): Rs.9300,- (for SVNIRTAR); Rs.9000/- (for NIOH)
b) Laboratory Fees (Annual): Rs.2660,- (for SVNIRTAR); Rs.2700/- (for NIOH)
c) Sport, Cultural Activities Fees (Annual): Rs.410,- (for SVNIRTAR); Rs.500,- (for NIOH)

d) Caution money (one time - refundable): Rs.16500,- (for SVNIRTAR); Rs.15000,- (for NIOH)

e) Library Fees (Annual): Rs.2660,- (for SVNIRTAR); Rs.3000,- (for NIOH)
f) University registration fees: Rs.70,- (for SVNIRTAR)

Total: Rs 31,600/- (for SVNIRTAR); Rs.30,200/- (for NIOH)

g) Hostel Fees (Annual) (To be paid at the time of hostel allotment): Rs.8000,- (for SVNIRTAR); Rs.8000,- (for NIOH)

h) Exam Fees: As per university norms

A Demand draft of Rs.30,200/- should be made in favor of "National Institute for the Orthopaedically Handicapped" payable at Kolkatato be deposited for admission on the day of counseling

Additional fee of Rs.1400,- shall be payable at the time of admission in cash, in case the candidate is admitted at SVNIRTAR, Cuttack

Online Application: The candidate will have to submit online at website (The submission will be confirmed only on receipt of Hard Copy of Application form & valid Demand Draft)

OFFLINE (Manual) Application: The candidate will have to take a print-out of the application form available on our website, fill it up as per instructions and send by speed-post along with a valid demand draft to "The filled-in Application Form complete in all respect should be submitted either by Online Mode or in a person or by post so as to reach office of Chairman, CET-2015, C,o Director (Office), National Institute for the Orthopaedically Handicapped, B.T. Merit list, Waiting list will be generated on the basis of marks obtained in the Common Entrance Test-2015
